About the Sprouts Co-op
Mountain Sprouts Preschool believes in working together to build a strong classroom community and that the work you do for your school not only helps keep costs low, but encourages families to invest in their child’s relationships, educational experience, and classroom environment.
Each family is asked to complete 20 hours of co-op work during the school year (apx 2hrs/mo). Including parents and their unique skill sets in the classroom through our co-op jobs not only builds community, but can be a great source of pride for our students and an important element of an inclusive classroom. Jobs vary and can range from mending toys and materials to guest teaching, to helping with classroom laundry to helping with fundraising and will be discussed in more detail at Orientation. Failure to complete your assigned task will result in a deduction from your deposit of $15 for each hour missed.
Families are responsible for self-reporting their co-op hours as they are completed using the form on this page.
